haru!
Found a pound in a coat last worn a few months ago and left lying on a pile of pile thats my wadrobe. a pound! suure...will get me a busride someplace nice:)Then I checked the other pocket and found 15 ahaha. am one happy bunny needless to say. its like free beer money except its not free, just forgotten. its worth it, the pleasures of spring cleaning coz u are bound to find something you thought u had lost in winters darkness. that brand new grapefruit lipgloss, hair ties, lighters, bank roll, sanity. Glad its spring again!

Freeze!
This weekend was edinburgh's very own big FREEZE! (link to New York version). Thanks to facebook!
Other than chilly bouts of wind, it was a decently sunny day. We met in front of the Scots monument in princes street for a briefing from the organizers of the event. Then walked over to the gallery square where we froze on cue for 5 minutes in position then unfroze and walked on like nothing big had happened. There were about 200, maybe more of us. What was the point in all of this? ...just for laughs i guess:)
the cool bit was when cluless people passing by looked freaked out and amused at the same time and were like 'oh these people are fucking crazy!' lol.
Me and a friend were busy chatting and missed the cue to start freezing so by the time we realized it had begun, we were caught at a very random moment. Who knows what i was doing with one hand in the air but i was stuck like that for the next 4 minutes something seconds! It was a pretty good freeze i think except for the occasional shivering coz of the bloody wind. Everyone participating did a good job despite those nutters roaming around with marker pens ahaha.
Would've been cooler if the freeze had happened in the station like in NY but oh well. It was an experience .. tons of people just shutting the hell up and standing still for 5 minutes! Very rare...like the world itself had stopped spinning and time had stood still n all that. I only took a few pre-freeze videos but soon as i get one of the actual freeze will try and put it up.
Went for sushi after that. Spoke some japanese and we got drinks on the house! except we ended up giving a massive tip so it was as good as paying for it! I should learn to walk away guiltlessly with freebies. I mean I used to be good at these things, at being..cheap and shameless!

vodka bar
I have been everything but decently happy for the past endless months and at one point last night, I remember feeling deeply happy or mistaking something else for happiness. Either way it worked well coz I was loving my drunken reality, its a pity I don't remember much of it. The loud useless banter, the drunken company, dangerously uncoordinated jwalks, sudden immunity to the biting cold and a daring sense of being invinsible. I love alcohol.
